Raw Food FAQs

Yes. Your pet is designed to eat raw food diets. They have shorter digestive tracts and their stomachs have a much higher acidity level than humans, which makes it easier for them to consume and thrive on raw food.

We believe our deliveries are the freshest! Your order remains in our freezers until the morning of day of delivery. Manufacturers and other retailers typically pack and despatch via courier the day before delivery meaning your food starts defrosting roughly 24 hours sooner than ours.

We believe it is best to feed your adult pet twice a day – once in the morning and once in the evening. Puppies and kittens more regularly

Yes, it most definitely is, in our opinion it is the best most natural way of feeding your dog or cat.

We do not recommend that you do this due to the differing rates of digestion between dry kibble and Raw foods.

Some are some are not, generally the food will be detailed as ‘Complete’ when it is wholesome and ‘Complimentary’ when it requires vegetables and such like adding.

All depends on which angle you look. It might not be so easy and convenient but it sure is healthy.

No, we do not recommend this in anyway, the food should be properly defrosted within your fridge before serving. (Do not defrost on your worktop).

Providing you keep any unserved food refrigerated it should be good up to 48hrs. However, if you are unsure or its smells odd especially in the Summer, we would advise disposing of it.

We strongly recommend that all frozen foods are removed from the freezer the day before they are needed and defrosted as required in the fridge. We strongly recommend that you do not leave Raw Foods out on the worksurface for defrosting.

The fear of feeding bones is usually in regards to COOKED bones. Raw bones however, are a natural source of calcium and other minerals. A natural source of calcium obtained from ground bones is far more utilised in the body than from artificial calcium sources such as bone meal. We understand that some pet owners will still have some fears in regards to feeding their pet bones.

We are as competitive as we can be and in most cases are the cheapest delivered and the freshest. Most manufacturers offer direct purchasing at prices comparable to us but charge very heavily for delivery! Please support your local independent.

Our minimum order is 5kgs so that goods remain sufficiently frozen during the delivery process.

Some ranges are packed in recyclable tubs some are not. The poly boxes are biodegradable however we prefer to collect them next delivery and reuse until they are no longer fit for purpose often getting used multiple times over, we schedule your delivery to go out with others in your area keeping our carbon emissions to a minimum.

Deliveries FAQs

We deliver throughout Surrey everyday of the week (Excluding Sundays) . We also deliver to neighbouring towns in next door counties.

Orders typically are processed for delivery the day after order; however, this is not a guarantee of next day delivery as we prefer to run more efficiently doing multiple deliveries in each postcode area. Please allow 3 working days.

No. Please let us know a safe place to leave your delivery, however responsibility passes to you once delivery has been made.

No. However we can arrange for orders to be collected from ‘DoLittle’ Pets & Supplies in Fetcham, Leatherhead or Sutton Green (Woking / Guildford). These must be paid for via the website in advance. Collections can not be arranged until payment is received.

We can deliver as little as 5kgs and can set up repeat orders as often as every week to help you not run out, try to avoid needing urgent deliveries whilst we will always try to help loyal customers, we have to remain financially viable.

We are FREE DELIVERY over 30kg. A delivery contribution of £3.25 is made for smaller drops within Surrey.

Only when we have delivered the wrong product and only providing you keep them frozen until we can collect. We are unable to offer product for sale again for safety reasons so unless its our mistake we cannot take them back. Faulty product must be reported via email for investigation.

Pre-packaged meals and Raw treats are all delivered frozen in poly freezer boxes. They can be left this way most of the day ideally in a shaded spot. It is the customer’s responsibility to refrigerate/freeze these products accordingly as soon as possible to prevent spoilage.
